The Zanskar Valley lies between the Great Himalayan and Zanskar ranges, southeast of Kargil, in Kargil District in Ladakh. I traveled across Zanskar in Ladakh with a friend of mine and we took a totally new route to enter Padum which is the main town of Zanskar Valley. Zanskar is located around 400+ km from Leh and is known for its old monasteries and adventure experiences. Although Zanskar is not much explored yet, there are still so many places you can see in Ladakh/Zanskar including Zongkhul, Zongla, Padum, Stongdey, Karsha, and more.
